Overview

BeatSeq is a drum sequencer for Wear OS. This policy explains what data the app does and does not collect.

Data We Do Not Collect

BeatSeq does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data. The app has no internet connectivity, no analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no crash reporting.

Data Stored on Your Device

BeatSeq stores the following data locally on your watch using Android DataStore:

· Your saved beat patterns (step states, accent states)
· BPM, swing, and mute settings
· Synthesised audio files cached to the app's private storage directory

This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

Permissions

BeatSeq requests the following Android permissions:

· WAKE_LOCK — keeps the CPU active during playback
· VIBRATE — haptic feedback on step interactions
· FOREGROUND_SERVICE / FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK — allows audio to continue while the app is in the foreground

None of these permissions are used to access personal data.

Third Parties

BeatSeq does not integrate any third-party SDKs, services, or APIs. No data is shared with any third party.

Children

BeatSeq does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13.
